NBI has inspected many retail office spaces for both insurance and commercial real estate needs. Every building is inspected by the inspector with the appropriate expertise for the subject and type of building. Each inspector brings to the inspection their training and knowledge of structure, mechanicals, roofing etc.
For each building, the roof is walked to identify materials used as well as to check for deficiencies such as alligator patterns in the membrane, open seams etc. Block construction is checked for shifting and stability of the building. Electrical and other major mechanical devices are also checked for working condition and proper/improper installation.
